Arthur joined Perfect Therapies MCMA to work as a dedicated therapy horse.

Bridging the gap between traditional soul-led talking therapy and the healing power of nature.

 

Walking alongside the mighty Arthur offers a powerful alternative to traditional room-based talking therapy sessions.

 

A true gentle giant, and a rare breed horse.

Arthur is incredibly kind, very social and deeply intuitive, and he offers a unique way to ground in the great outdoors.

 

When he isn't working, he loves nothing more than being on "Sentry Duty," peacefully observing the comings and goings of the stable yard.

 

Arthur is five years old and will keep growing until he is eight!

He's a dark bay with four white socks and is kept barefoot, which means he doesn't wear horseshoes. Instead, he is regularly trimmed to keep his feet in tip-top shape.

​

Arthur's favourite food is enormous Swedes, which he devours in minutes!​

​

Weather:

Sessions with Arthur are weather-dependent to ensure the comfort of both client and horse; flexibility is required, especially during the winter months. ​

​

What to Expect:

A 'Walk & Talk' Session takes us through the natural landscape, which includes uneven footpaths and some country roadside walking.

To get the most out of the experience, please ensure you are comfortable with this level of activity and wear appropriate footwear.
